Hi!

Right now I’m in to making tracks with only one instrument and only one take, live and direct.
I recently got the Evolver Desktop and it’s great for this purpose.


Evolver straight into my soundcard, two delays and some reverb but that’s it.


Evolver -> RE-20 -> Cassette portastudio. Minimal and drone-like. I’m starting and stopping the sequencer and tweaking the re-20 to create this.

Love this way of working! The only problem is that I tend to be able to do this once, and then I won’t really get into the flow when I try to reproduce it, even if i start from the same patch.

Very nice! Can’t beat an Evolver for experimentation in a small package.

I found that listening to a track again and again helped to memorize the evolution of it, so that you can recreate is later.
