These dudes make some nice braided cables and are well priced — they have just moved over to the UK

For what it’s worth, signal sounds has a pretty good selection but I just don’t know how they stack up against other UK vendors pricewise. You could give it a look though, if you have not already.

It depends. You don’t want to be stretching the cables to tightly. I’ve also found that having cables a touch longer makes it easier to gather them up and velcro them out of the way. I have a 7U 104HP case among a couple of smaller ones.

I have about:

20x 15CM
20x 30CM
20x 45CM
10x 60CM

I’ve also got a few longer ones that I’ve inherited along the way. I keep a decent supply of stackables in about the same lengths as above (or close to those sizes). And I use some of the splitters that Polar Noise sells.

I’ve bought but the shielded and the braided cables from them. I learned that braided cables don’t always fold down as compact for cases that have lids on them. I keep them around for my smaller rack that doesn’t travel but I’ve otherwise stopped using them for this reason.
