Eurorack/A4 MKII/QU-16 mixer

Hello from New York! 1st post here.

Brand new to modules and eurorack, I recently purchased an intellijel 7u 84hp eurorack case with intellijel plonk, Erica synths DSp2, and a quad intellijel VCA to get me started. The case has two 1/4 analog outs and two 1/4 ins.

I want to be able to use my Elektron A4 MKIIs 4 CV outs to trigger and add effects onto tracks 1-4 while recording into an Allen & Heath qu-16 digital mixer which allows me to multitrack record into 16 line inputs onto a hard drive.

The analog rytm MKI is also in my setup.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there,
I am a big user of the Qu16 and have split my Rytm outs to 8 of the inputs.
Then I have a Digitakt going into two other inputs, and a DIgitone going through some pedals and into two other inputs.

It is really up to you to decide which sounds you want to be split out - then make sure that they are grouped together and sent to the QU16.

I would have the Rytm be the clock/start n stop and then send midi to the A4 which would then send midi to your rack via cv.
