Is there is low level intensity fix for an encoder or two when pressed and turned right tend to go back to zero. I looked at the archives and did read some comments suggesting it is a software issues and another requiring soldering…is this friar issue or strictly hardware where replacement is an easy fix.

You don’t specify, but let’s assume Mk1 … I’d go into test mode and compare the encoders there … you get handy feedback and each encoder should look/feel the same. If not it may need attention or replacing and there’s a lot of advice on doing both, but best run it past support first if unsure
