Hiya,
I’ve been struggling regarding using the Chill sound pack. I have the instructions for downloading and installation but have failed miserably at every turn (such is my lack of knowledge).
I’d be eternally grateful if anyone could guide me through the entire process (i.e. Connecting the Octatrack to my Mac, downloading and managing the file, - and getting it working.

I’m going to presume you are talking about the Loopmasters / Chillwave pack from the store?
Taking a guess… I think your issue is that you are copying over an extra folder level too many because of the way the pack has been archived… but anyways:
There should be the Set folder, in my example it is called O-DUBSDEMO
This contains the Audio Pool folder called AUDIO which may or may not contain sub-folders
Then there are one or more Project folders, my example has one called ODUBSTEPD
You need to copy the Set folder (i.e. O-DUBSDEMO) and all it’s contents to the Octatrack.
To do this plug in the USB cable. On the Octatrack press [Function] + [Project] to open the menu.
Using the arrow keys and Yes/No buttons…
Navigate to [System] on the left hand side, then to [USB Disk Mode] on the right hand side.
You should see the Octatrack appear as a new mounted disk on your mac like any other external drive / USB key.
Copy the Set folder and all it’s contents to the Octatrack.
Eject the disk from your Mac, the Octatrack will reload the current set/project, when that is finished:
On the Octatrack press [Function] + [Project] to open the menu.
Go to the first option [Project] on the left hand side, then press the [Right] arrow key.
Navigate to [Set Change] on the right hand, and select the Set you want to load.
It will then ask you to load a Project, of which there will be one or more in the list, select with the arrow keys and press the [Yes] button.

Many thanks for your help last night. Really appreciated. I’m sad to say that I’ve struggled to get anything other than the 8 recording slots and no further sounds in the remaining slots, even though the display suggests I’m copying something. . I can’t understand where I’m going wrong given your clear guidance. Perhaps it’s my misunderstanding of the root that’s meant to be copied and the process thereafter. Also, I wonder if I should reformat my card, though I’m unsure how to do this. I’ll understand if this is too troublesome. Many thanks for anything you can offer. All the best Barrie
After copying, you should just be ready to rock… you have of course loaded up the new Set and Project?
