There always is. So the recent head honcho is moving back home and their boots will be (or are already) filled. It’s all very everyday from my perspective.

I guess we can all wish the departing CEO and their incumbent all the best; it may herald exciting new ventures - all we know is that whatever it is it won’t be to everyone’s taste … in any case evidence of any influence from a new CEO will take a long time to manifest at our end

agree fully. ‘a lot is happening’ is very much an empty vessel

I heard he’s the only one who knows how to CEO and now they won’t be able to do that stuff anymore, or something

Is it common for a CEO to leave after 2 years? Feel like it is quite a short time but maybe I am wrong.

aka CEOT?

He just said “C, E, O” and left.

Only one year as CEO. 2.5 years at the company in total.

Linkedin says he was interim CEO and was fully CEO for the last 6 months.
He has been a designer as well.

Short term or long term, moving from designer to CEO is a kind of strange leap in any context - unless you started your own company I suppose.

Occasionally they say “I take full responsibility,” even though they actually don’t

they also generally take home the most pay, which is a kind of doing something.
