File was too big to upload so it’s on BC. Made in VCV Rack 2. Here’s the patch: Dron Day 2026.vcv (7.8 KB). 4 oscillators thru some effects with modulation and additional effects sends for flavor. I pitched it down -12 semitones in Ableton and threw some Valhalla Supermassive on it too.

Korg Monologue + Boss GT-001, but since it was a bit static it has been merged with a track with Boss multi effect alone in feedback. You can here it as almost static drone that is present in mid of this, giving some “dynamic” effect while being pretty static, just being entering and exiting. No other effect (beside some compression).

I’ll be going back through this thread and listening over the weekend but in the meantime here’s my 2 penneth worth:
This was created by sampling the Crows Electromusic Ovum (5 Osc Drone Eurorack Module) into Tonverk for the Max time. I gentle adjusted the osc waveforms (triangle to square) and volume faders but only subtley as I mainly wanted to see what the Tonverk could do to add variety.
I didn’t use the Tonverk sequencer at all. I just used the Filter, FX etc with LFOs etc.
There were two tracks. The original recording via a single player and the same file used with Grainer.
The fades were added in my DAW.

I wanted to make a shorter entry since my first one was an hour long. I spent a lot more time preparing this one… In retrospect, I wish I had timed the LFO filter modulation with my breathing, but instead I spent most of my time just tuning oscillators.
I live performed a Solar 42f into a Tascam Model 12 with two yellow 1/4" cables, then it ran through my network into an iPad to combine the stereo tracks into one file, and trim some minutes off the intro, using loopy pro.
That’s it. Oh, and it was a little quiet so I turned it up in loopy pro, and I did a manual fade in at the beginning since I chopped out my intro. It took me a couple tries because my dog kicked me on the first one.

Here’s a live performance using 3 tracks of a DN1 and a LCXL3, recorded dry with a small amount of reverb added in Live afterwards. The sequencer was not used. The original recording was around 12 minutes in length, and then was truncated before being exported.
It’s 2/3 of my live drone setup I’ve been working with over the last few months, the other 1/3 being an Analog Keys.

Nope, pure Tonverk with a short sample of ST dual VCO.
I mainly use Filter Folder, it’s an incredible tool for distorsion
