What is the story with the warranty from Elektron when buying a second hand unit? Is any remaining warranty still valid for the new owner?
I already searched on the forum and found a thread about the original retailer warranty not being valid as it is effectively a contract between the original buyer and seller.
I wondered if the Elektron warranty stayed with the machine though?
Would appreciate a prompt response as I have the chance of jumping at my first Elektron piece of gear and have to say so today if I want it.

Does anyone know whether Elektron will honour a warranty for a second hand unit if the new owner has it registered on the web site but doesn’t have the original proof of purchase?
I dont think this is entirely correct… my experience was: elektron said no matter who bought it, whoever holds it and sends it in will get warranty (as long as it is 3years / 2 years ) after purchase …
thomann did the bullshit with signing the warranty over to a new buyer with me … was not impressed!
