I think its designed especially by and for elektron.
Would bé sirprised. Your best bet Will to ask them directly, i know at à point they sold some to some user i think.
Do you mean the potentiometer or just the knob?
Knob might be custom, potentiometer isn’t.

I maybe wrong but a small company like Elektron will get there components from the market.
No special pots for Elektron only, they don’t sell a million+ of there products.
Companies often don’t give their resources and mostly rename/number stock items.
Just my thoughts.

Reviving and ancient thread here, but I was researching what pots the Digitone and Digitakt are using for a project and I found this part.
Maybe it will be useful to somebody some day.

You’re close. I think thats for sure the right amount of pins but it has a push down switch which the md and mnn dont have on their volume. If i recall correctly i think elektorn uses bourns pots but i may be wrong. Elektron charges more than mouser but you get the right part. I usually order from them first and then go out on my own.
Probably, the one i posted is fitting the more recent machines (DN, DT, the new OT), but took my while to find a match so i thought I’d share anyways.
I don’t have a MD or MNM to investigate sadly
