The funny thing is I haven’t actually dug into MIDI CC assignments between SS2 and OT. It’s because I wasted so much time trying to get the editor and the SS2 to talk to each other, before I learned that there was an issue with extra long USB cables and iMacs.
Then I focused on practicing recording loops and stuff using the SS2+OT combo alone and w/ band rehearsals.
Then the OT stopped working and I swapped in other gear for it for our gigs in Philly and Las Vegas. Bandleader freaked out and probably won’t let me use the OT in her band - seems to be behaving fine at home though :). Could have used the SS2’s MIDI CC support to adjust LFO settings, SRR params, Scene A vs. B fader, etc. but will get back to exploring all that eventually - and now we got all these other new features like Trig Conditions to explore.
