Wanting to hear of anyone who might have used a Buchla Easel with any Elektron boxes. In particular how you might have synced the Easel to any Elektron box; OT, MD, A4, RYTM, MnM and any difficulties/work arounds etc. Thanks in advance

The mono worked as I recall, but I rarely used the mono to trig the Buchla as I loved the Buchla seq and arp . I had the mono patched into the lpg and spring reverb. With A4 you can sequence Buchla with cv but you need a banana cable diy jack.

i had a read of the thread, and it seems it experiences issues if too much midi data is coming to it, so limit or filter the midi data to contain only timeclock and midi notes.

exactly my issue, wondering how people filtered the MIDI data from the Elektron boxes. I know this is a pretty standard thing but just wanted to hear from people as to their approach.
HS, you can try out the buchla easel and buchla system at MESS and see if its the right fit for you and your elektrons.
If you are not a member, i can take you in as a guest if you wanna go. anyway, i love the buchla easel. My fav synth alongside the monomachine.

I could add so much Eurorack with that
I was debating the purchase of an Easel for a couple of years and finally bought one recently. Absolutely love it and nothing else like it, a truly self contained instrument with soooo much depth!
