I’m about to buy a flight case (Pelican 1610) since I will be traveling interstate a fair bit with my gear.
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with a flight case + Trekpak interior system? Particularly as checked in luggage (not carry-on). If so - do the walls hold up ok? How tightly can the walls surround the Elektron boxes (with/without protective lids)?
A search for Elektron + Trekpak yielded no results (mostly camera gear for carry on luggage) but I’m hoping someone might have given it a go?
I am leaning towards the Trekpak rather than the traditional foam inserts since I would like the option to change the interior layout of the case (different setups for multiple projects). But obviously the safety of the gear is the most important thing.
