Hoping someone on this thread can help with a peculiar occurrence between my digi boxes and MioXM. I have setup my digitakt as the main sequencer to my digitone via midi. Setup/Performance is fine for the most part. However, this is what occurs: 1) the top row of lights on my MioXM module flash repeatedly with my setup. I’ve discovered that this is driven by my turning on “Clock Send” in the Sync page in the Midi Config menu on the digitakt. When I turn off Clock Send, the blinking stops, but the digitone does not sync/play with the digitakt. I have modified all other MIDI settings in the digitakt to make this stop, but only turning off Clock Send seems to be the only solution. I’ve also tried using the Filter checkboxes in the MioXM Auracle software with no luck.
My questions are: has anyone else encountered this issue? And if so, is there a way to stop this from occurring? Bottom line, there’s no immediate negative impact to performance, but I am curious to know if I am setting something up incorrectly.
If my summary is too vague, I can provide additional details for my setup for reference. To start off with, both digital boxes MIDI In and Outs are connected to the MioXM module; all send/receive options are selected in the digitakt and only receive options are checked in the digitone.
