Electronic live sets

You’re running Overbridge into the iPad and that mixes the multi track from the devices?

Yeah, tell me about it, man. Imagine a world where the DT, DN, ST style instruments had direct pattern change. That would be so so slick

Nope. Just stereo mixes from each device into AUM.

can’t tell you how many times I’ve imagined the power of an extra set of hands  cool set!

what is going on with that mic/vocoder? :exploding_head:

nice sounds! I could get down to this 100%

Vocoder? Where? :stuck_out_tongue: The mic is for the acoustic instrument (on the right in the thumbnail) and our screams (we did in other parts of the concert). No Vocoder :stuck_out_tongue:

aha! I thought I was hearing some overtones with the screams. Probably was, but no vocoder needed, obviously

Here’s the first 45 min. of a live set I did back in February
Sorry for the video being out of sync, tried my best to fix it with my limited Premiere Pro skills, but couldn’t figure it out

Sounds very good! Well mixed, sounds rich and fat.

Is that the DN2, DT2, UC4 and OT on mixing and looping duties? How do you use the UC4 in this setup?

Posted on the share your tunes thread already, but fits better here:

Last weekend I did a live set for Sauna Radio, a new community web radio based in Stockholm. House & Techno within the 128-136bpm range, made on the Tonverk and Digitone 2. Using the blackbox for livelooping and bluebox to DJ transition between patterns.

Thanks for the compliment!
Yeaps you got it right  Octatrack acts only as performance mixer / transition looper, ie. not triggering any sounds.

I use UC4 for:

  • Filter/delay controls on the OT’s AB input (DN2 going into DT2)
  • Volume/mutes on Digitone (although I don’t use those as much since I moved from DN1 to DN2)
  • Macros on DN2, for the first 4 tracks (again, I might need to rethink this now that I have more tracks with DN2)

I think that’s pretty much it

Very nice. Yours is similar to my setup. Just using the blackbox and bluebox as mixer/live looper/stems, and the Intech controllers for filters, delay and macros for the TV.
