Thanks for the heads up re new firmware. I’ll try and install this today and report back. I’ve used my 1440 a bunch but the midi sync has always been less than perfect.

Anything specific you’d like to know? Seems to be working fine now (though it worked fine most of the time before too). I have it synced to my DAW via MIDI. Nice to have that MIDI input.

Well, if by any chance you own a Digitakt (or any other Elektron gear for that matter) I would like to know how good it syncs with it…
My plan would be to use it for transitions (ie. Digitakt on channel A of a DJ mixer, 1440 on channel B)
And also: if you hear any frequency loss compared to the original signal

I’ve had one for a few months now and I love it. It’s always synced up to either my Model:Samples or Arturia Keystep 37 (after going through the M:S and my Monologue). It’s been pretty rock solid for me. FWIW it’s got the latest firmware.
