I only buy 2nd hand through reputable shops.

Did the seller have a track record? Or a new seller? Maybe they’re a little new to it and thought they could get away with it :man_shrugging:t2:

Idiots!

On another note - cant help notice your modular expansion

I would like to give the benefit of doubt missing the power supply fair enough but missing all the modules not so

Possible

" Case does not have original box but the modules do."

Took modules out, put them in the boxes and forgot to pack them?

Could also be a hijacked account. Be interesting to see what they respond

Yeah that’s the thing it don’t make sense

Accounts are taken over on eBay… wildly commonly. There are edge cases where an account with great standing will be taken over, items that had been sold will be re-listed, often at yolo prices to get sale asap. Item is sold, fake seller asks for money order, e-transfer, venmo etc, empty box gets a tracking number and poof. The account goes back to the original owner.

Other times, sellers are just shit, criminally flexible or just plain desperate. Whichever the case, PayPal is insured, eBay is insured, the seller and buyer have a slim chance of restitution.

Check feedback
Message the seller
Open your package on video at pickup location (wildly important)
Never use anything except insured payment methods (PayPal, visa, etc)

Some folk are just idiots. The idiot who sent me my theremini packed it in a thin postage bag with no padding or bubble wrap or anything. It’s a miracle it didn’t arrive in fragments. Thankfully it didn’t. But WTF?

One time I ordered a copy of the first black heart procession LP from someone on ebay. The buyer simply wrapped it in brown paper and mailed it, which enabled the delivery person to fold it in half so it would fit into our mailbox :frowning:
