DT1 project import to DT2: Your experiences

Hello Nauts, I thought this would be a good topic for its own thread.

I’m curious about everyone’s experiences importing Digitakt 1 projects into Digitakt 2. I’m sure there are many people that have made a LOT of music on DT1 and are wondering how it carries over to DT2.

  • Any wrong notes/pitches?
  • Change of sound character/mixing?
  • If something was a bit off, was it easy enough to tweak a DT1 project on the DT2 to make it sound right?
  • Did some things sound better, worse or just different?
  • Any strange behaviours?

I’m just curious about the whole process. I don’t own a DT2 yet. Quite happy with my OG and just waiting to see the reality after the hype. No doubt I’ll pick one up eventually.
