killer concept, good luck!
thanks, glad you liked it
Looks great. Looking forward to the photos. Good luck with this project.
OP, seeing as you’re looking for feedback…
FWIW I would be interested in the concept but honestly, this is just too physically large for my setup. The key point of comparison for me would be a DJ performance mixer like a A&H Xone96 (4 channels plus 2 additional stereo ins, 2 x aux sends, great EQ and filters, great performance routing eg crossfader etc). This product is more than twice the size of the largest DJ mixer on the market.
Not an issue for some people I know, but for those of us with limited space in our setup, a more compact version would be more appealing.
Thanks for your feedback. IMO it is not comparable to a xone, its a studio mixer, more like a console, not meant to be a dj mixer. I see your point about the size and i’m planning to make a more compact version once this one is ready.
If you can make it really compact and fit at least 50% of features into the size of let’s say Mackie 1202, it will be instant hit… Searching for something like that since late 90s, and still there’s no perfect solution.
Got old AH MixWizard, Mackie 1202, OTO Bebe Cherie, 1010 Bluebox and thinking about SSL Big Six or ATB Pro Rack… unfortunately despite being very good for some tasks, they all aren’t perfect, especially for electronic music, performance and experiments.
One more thing to mention - try to learn what Zahl do with their boards. Of course, it is in a completely different class and there’s strong lifetime experience behind it, but some things could be adopted I guess.
take a look if you haven’t seen it yet:

1400 is a really good price
interesting concept
It would be cool to maybe somehow get the channels to be modular
not sure how haha
but like
parallel vs series type shit
Goodluck
Id buy the shit out this mixer
A lot of snide comments on here, not sure why. I’m pretty excited to see where this goes, best of luck to OP, hopefully haters don’t spoil shit
not sure if its possible to make it this small. ill check zaehl, never heard of it
thanks, the idea of semi modular has crossed my mind but its already packed with a lot of functions. one feature i think would have been great but needs a lot of work is adding knob recording.
Yes, of course, but I read some of the posts here like “show me the complete circuit, justify all your design decisions and explain all technical calculations or you won’t get any of my attention”.
Well, no demo and I am immune to marketing speech, so I asked about the circuit and used my imagination based on my experience.
You can blame me for this.
My main suspicion was that we were being directed to a GoFundMe. Not a Kickstarter, a GoFundMe. To just, donate money I guess. That’s shady, but it’s been removed so there’s that.
Looking forward to a working prototype, would be a great match for an mpc60.
Kickstarter is available only in 25 countries.
One of them being Egypt. Not saying OP is sketchy, i trust OP’s intentions. Kickstarter would be a better platform for this.
I think gofundme is less then that, and yeah it started as a feedback+fundraising post and then went to feedback only…
I think it’s a very nice and affordable console-like mixer for people who have space for it, but yeah a demo and some A>B testing would be absolute must if one orders such a large device…
and requesting proof of working prototype is totally understandable when it’s in fundraising mode.
Anything here that suggests at selling or pre-ordering or financing will render the topic off-topic in this part of the forum. It must only be a discussion on the specification - it can’t be a back-door to selling, nor mistaken as such by anyone else. It’s more problematic because the concept is posted by the ‘seller’ and initially seeking direct (gofundme) funding, as opposed to a third-party linking to this offsite, in which case the discussion is implicitly more innocent and can’t veer into backdoor selling. So please discuss the proposal with a view that procuring one is completely removed from this topic … if it heads that way, the topic will simply be closed.
Yeah their AM1 mixer looks absolutely stunning and is well as expensive as it is extensive. But yeah never underestimate what a good mixer can do for your quality of life. I just got the Xer Mixa in my eurorack and it is just blowing my mind how much easier it is to get a good mix… kind of forgot how nice it could be… had been using a cobbled together “mixer” for too long.
@Minayoss
Looks like a compelling mixer but I like others don’t really have room for a console like that even at an affordable price. Maybe sell it with some screw on adjustable legs that way home studio peoples might be able to fit it in without buying new furniture. (Like on the old Yamaha combo organs)
Excellent idea
It was not about the country, i just didn’t know about the kickstarter website, it is indeed better suited for this. The fundraising was initially meant to help purchasing the components and custom knobs in larger quantities. I decided to delay this until the first unit is assembled and demonstrated and its not allowed to fundraise or sell it in this topic as explained by avantronica.
