A good friend of mine has been running this brilliant sampling session in Bremen, and I thought some of you might be interested to join.
It happens every first Sunday of the month, this time Sunday 03.05 between 14:00–20:00, at NEO in Bremen.
About the event:
Each session kicks off with everyone receiving the same sample, and from there you get 3 hours to build a track. It’s absolutely not a competition, it’s a creative space to share ideas in music. Afterwards you can share your track (only if you want to), share tips, or give a little peek behind your approach to creating music.
I’ve been to every session so far and it’s always a great and inspiring time. Really relaxed and open atmosphere. Any style of music is welcome, and you can bring whatever you work on: hardware, laptop, machines (I’m with my DT/DT of course ).
The sound system is seriously nice, so it’s a treat to actually hear your music on proper big speakers for once.
Spots for producers are limited to 15, but everyone is also welcome to just come over and listen.

Very nice. I’m originally from Bremen and recently move to Hannover. I probably won’t be able to make it for the May 3rd Session, but I’ll definitely come by for one of the upcoming Sessions as this is exactly my kind of Jam.
