Drambo’s new pal has arrived. I’m very excited to see how this setup develops.
I took a bit of a risk on the Presonus Atom SQ since the Loopop review said he didn’t know if the usb-c iPads could power it directly without a powered hub. I’m happy to report that they can. Just waiting on a little usb-c 3-way splitter cable so I can plug-in the Atom SQ and the Apple usb-c to 3.5mm headphone adapter at the same time. Then I’ve got my perfect “stop myself from buying an OP-1 field” mobile setup.
The iPad is on the Apple Magic Keyboard case and I’m also happy to report that the Atom SQ sits perfectly on top of it without pressing any keys. Plus you can charge to iPad through the second usb-c port on the left of the keyboard case.
