I really don’t need it is the truth, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting it.
This volca pricing with full sized sliders is very hard to reject, both mentally and physically.

This thing will likely be on sale in a year or two for a similar price to where that discount code puts it. I’d just hold on to the money in that situation, but you’re a free person
sorry for the temptation😉
Can’t believe it’s real! I almost preordered and might have if they’d left in the pitch and mod wheels from the original render…
Pre order is just America? Can’t see it in the uk store
Maybe due to the NAMM deal branding? That’s all that I can imagine.
That would make sense actually
So how does this stack up against the ms1?, anything novel?.
I get the impression this is more “inspired by” the 101 than trying to be an exact replica or clone like the MS-1
I mean this thing has two envelopes for starters, and additional waveforms and probably more I haven’t noticed
Withholding judgement until I hear someone program Polynomial-C on this thing
I’m looking at the synth unit by itself right now and trying to decide if a near-custom controller for TAL-Bassline is worth $240
Did you try that “new2” code and see if it was still active?
NEW2 discount code isn’t valid for the items in your cart
guess I can close this page now
I’ve tried to find some large photos.
That’s actually how I decide if I like to try something out or not: By looking at a frontal picture of the interface.
It’s physically smaller than I thought it would be but makes sense. I also wonder why they didn’t come up with a way to lock the keyboard to the body. Sounds pretty good, more inspired by 101 than a clone like the MS-1, as was already previously observed.
It’s gotta be awful presenting with all that random harsh noise going on around you.
Nice presentation. The synth looks fun enough, and I like the detachable keyboard. I like what I’ve seen Donner come out with, I imagine people will be pretty happy with this one too. But at the end of the day, it is still a fairly plain mono synth with one single oscillator, and nothing new in terms of modulation options… not something for me
