Hi. I was thinking of getting the TV to run slave to the OT.
Are pattern changes working when it runs as slave?
I’ve been using a 1010blackbox to run sequenced multisamples longer than 4 bars but it behaves strangely sometimes. So the TV would replace it.
I have a Rytm and it works perfectly as a slave and is a joy.
Hoping for the same level of elektron quality.

The Tonverk responds to Program Changes correctly but there is more latency if slaved to OT (maybe 9 ms ? I don’t remember exactly).
Almost no latency if TV is master but for now it doesn’t send Program Changes on time (PC should be sent just before pattern change). So consequently, slaved Elektron gear change patterns 1 cycle later. Should be fixed at some point…
I just recorded 10ms latency with my Tonverk slaved to a Nome. As a slave the Tonverk sounds terrible (unless they master can make an adjustment).
This latency can be compensated if you plug master gear audio outs in TV audio inputs.
(Just a workaround, nothing ideal)

I’m unsure what you mean as the pattern change delay has always been an issue from my memory. Admittedly I haven’t messed with my OT in quite some time, but when I was performing I would manually change patterns on connected Elektron gear for this reason. (At least that’s how my memory serves me)
Good news : no.
I use it since 12 years. It works between Elektrons with right Sync page settings.
In this page, PChanges are sent just before pattern change.
Not correctly implemented on TV for now.

Guess I’m misremembering or I must have just said F it when I couldn’t pin it down when first learning. Kept me busy during sets, that’s for sure. Next time I get a chance to use the OT will have to test. (It’s been over 3 years.)
