Does Chord machine send midi notes of chords?

Thought about getting a second synth for chord stabs. Before buying such a thing, I’d like to know if the Chord machine sends all the chord notes thru midi or just the root note?

I want my cake, and to eat it too - I’d love for it to send the individual notes in the chord, but also, I’d really like to be able to put in the notes myself. I’m so selfish lol :slight_smile:

Does the chord machine play “notes” or is it all synth with 5ths and 7ths etc, so that there isn’t any midi data for any notes besides the root ?

It’s proper chords but I suspect the issue was that you can dynamically change the voicing of the chord while it’s playing, and that’s definitely not a midi 1.0 feature (dynamic velocity per note).
