Hello.

I guess this is possible. But before investing, had anyone used a Doepfer R2M ribbon controller to control the OT crossfader (between scenes)?

And do you know, if its possible to use the R2Ms midicontrol box, to simultaneously convert midi in from the OT to cv/gate controlling analog equipment? The R2M apparently merges midi in with the ribbon controller. But I would like to send ribbon controller info to OTs crossfader, and midi out from OT to other cv/gate stuff.

The R2M is ONE mashine ! This means - how you wrote - the MIDI -In signals of the R2M are always merged with the controller paramenters of the ribbon. It’s not possible to use the R2M as a MIDI/CV-interface while using the ribbon controller for something different. If you play on the ribbon it will alwas send Midi-data to the MIDI-out and to cv/gate out at the same time.
