I accidentally swapped a Swarmer machine with a Bassdrum (FM Drum Machine) preset. At first this didn’t seem to be a huge problem cause I knew how to load the Swarmer machine again but since I did this I am not able to play 3 (or more) note chords on this track somehow. I have brought all the knobs on the buttons to the default state but when activating the Keyboard (Normal) Mode it does not play back chords but acts as a monophonic synth. What could be the issue here? I have altered the stuff like de AMP settings to longer decay etc, all with no succes.
Sounds like either there aren’t enough voices allocated to that track to allow chords or other tracks are stealing the voices you need in order to play chords.
Take a look at the ‘Voice setup menu’ section of the manual. You can access it via the ‘Unison’ button on your digitone. Make sure the voices are set to be equal to more the amount of notes you are playing, or auto.
If it’s voice stealing you might need to take a look at the other tracks in your pattern to see which are using the most voices and then set their voice limit in the voice setup menu.
You have 16 voices in total to allocate, I recommend a look at page 45 of the latest manual.
