I just received this digitone is a detail questions me. I’m used to Elektron so I think it’s a problem.
When no mode is active these two keys and the “-” key have a color defect.
I have no color or brightness problems in all operating modes.
I also did a MODE TEST and no problems.
What do you think ? led defect or a detail of operation of MKII ?
I think of a problem, but since I have no problem in the operation of the modes, I can do with it.

When you do test mode, after the error test, follow it with the keys test by pressing buttons.
Specifically, press and hold 3, 4 and 5 individually. The colors will change on all the button LEDs and if you can see that one color is missing from those trigs 15 and 16 then that part of the LED is broken or defective and it probably needs repair or exchange for a physical issue with the digitone.
If it’s brand new you would need to go through the retailer, elektron or whoever sold it to you. They should exchange it if you explain the situation.

no problem when i press 3 4 and 5 on test mode.
So the lights all turn red green and blue respectively when pressing those 3, 4 and 5 trigs in test mode, including those 2 abnormal ones? Did you already try a new project? If the problem follows to a new project contact elektron and show them your picture.
Yes all turn red green and blue without any problem. And still the same problem in a new project.
If i turn the brightness to max, the problem is less visible.
The backlight seems intensely bright in your pic. With intensity set to MAX here, it’s nowhere near as bright as that, so that might be related to your problem. Or maybe it’s your camera…? Best to speak to support, sure they can help you. I’d also reinstall the firmware (currently 1.10B) incase something went weird there.
