DJ Table for studio & live setup

I believe I may have found a DJ table which will work well for my use case but would like to learn about options that I may not have discovered. What else is out there that I should consider?

Gorilla Stands DS-1 DJ Deck Stand CDJ Controller Mixer Laptop Workstation appears to provide what I need as it is floor standing and has enough desktop space. I would prefer something lighter in weight than 17kg if that were an option.

My setup is: OTmk2, A4mk2, ARmk2, OTmk1 plus the following smaller devices: Sleepy Circuits Hypno, small Boss mixer, FMR RNC. I may sometimes use a Macbook for vocal signal chain along with my MOTU Ultralite. There’s enough space to accomodate those.

Use case: in my studio I need to be able to slide the setup out of the way. I have some floor space where the Gorilla DS-1 can be moved while not being used. Live I don’t want to depend on random tables in venues and can transport the DS-1 relatively easily.

Nothing g to say other than it looks like a nice table at a nice price.

I ended up getting something different. I realised that while it is solid I didnt like having something so large taking up space when not in use.

I spotted a used but perfect condition one of these locally. Spent 50%

this is really cool. you could set the top up like a pedal board of music boxes, put that in a case for travel and then just pop it on the stand when ready to rock out

also their “musician chair” looks cool too.

the site loaded in English and then everything ist auf deutsch from there. challenge accepted

You can also just use a keyboard stand to support your synths arranged in a large pedal case…

This is my dream

The table top is a little large for flight but certainly good enough for local shows. The name of my game is to avoid lengthy setup and breakdown time so being able to setup off stage and carry the table top either onto my own stand or a locally provided stand should help with that.

Now…I just need to practice……

true true. is it tippy like this, tho? or do you feel it’s pretty secure?

Secure for sure. The X stand inserts within the top table.

I’m moving and downsizing, also thinking about a smaller desk that’s either height adjustable or for standing. Any recommendations?

I currently have my synths/laptops and controllers/pedals and keys arranged in 2 vertical rows.

I like my equipment to be angled. So far, I’m using laptop stands for that. But I’m thinking about other solutions like these, but they look kinda crappy?

I feel it is quite solid. With a comfortable playing height of 90cm, the top part of the Gravity keyboard stand spreads about 50cm, which safely supports the 80cm wide bottom of the pedal case
