Yeah agreed. The desk stand thing was built to complement another desk I had, but im in a new house with a smaller room, so it now has to be the main battle station.
I’m tempted to see if I can make the mixer work in situ though, with the addition of a monitor behind the keyboard/blackbox this gives me pretty easy reach to just about everything, I just need to slide the drawers in and out a bit to avoid overreaching fatigue.
Edit: I also need to get out of the habit of making studio furniture as a form of procrastination.
