Digitone multimap keyboard split

Hi all, trying multimap settings for the first time and failing miserably. I’m trying a simple keyboard split on a Komplete Kontrol A25 via Ableton, bass on C2-B2, lead on C3-B4. I think I’ve set everything up according to the manual but it’s not splitting. I have range one for bass coming from T3, and range two lead from T2. Is this because the midi keyboard is routed via ableton rather than using a midi cable (NI very annoyingly doesn’t have this on their keyboards). Please help explain anyone?

The doc (IMHO) is not very clear on this part.

Yes thank you, after some fiddling that worked! I don’t understand why it would need to go down to C0 but perhaps that’s the easiest way to line up the DN and keyboard if they aren’t on the same configuration. You rock!

I guess that’s because the octave naming schemes are different.

And again someone tripped over the octave naming scheme. The MIDI standard contains no fixed naming scheme for octaves. So some devices call their lowest MIDI note (decimal value=0) C-2, others name it C-1 or C0. The Digitakt uses C0. So the effect of being one or two octaves off, is just a matter of how the octaves are named (which was never standardized).
