Digitone Keys/Digitakt midi sequencing

Just wondering what the main differences/features there are in my Digitone Keys / Digitakt where midi tracks are concerned and sequencing external gear?

I know that my DT can do 8 midi tracks and my DN can do 4 but are there any other differences other than that like poly etc?

I’m asking as I’m gonna be setting up all my gear again and just wondering what to connect to what sequencing wise.

Current Drums/Perc

• Digitakt
• Arturia Drumbrute
• Novation Drumstation
• Jomox MBase11
• Jomox MBrane

Current synths

• Argon 8m
• Digitone Keys
• TD-3
• Novation Bass Station Rack
• Korg Nu Tekt
• DSI Mopho Desktop
• (Cobalt 8m ordered)

Other:

• Arturia Keystep Pro

So another question do I use my Digitakt as master or the Keystep pro? Either way I’d want to incorporate Keystep pro in there somewhere.

Also just read in your first link that my Digitone Keys had 8 note poly midi whereas my Digitakt has 4 note… so my thinking is to sequence my poly synths from the DN midi tracks and drum modules and percussion stuff from the DT.

So…

Digitakt sequencing the Jomox Mbase11 - Mbrane - Drumstation then use midi to out of DT to trigger Drumbrute.

Digitone Keys can midi up with Argon 8m - Mopho etc

Keystep pro can do the mono synths
