Digitone ii vs Tonverk

I can only speak for myself - I wouldn‘t sell DN2

 i used to own a regular XVI, didnt know about the M version with buttons. Sweet! Tnx!

Exactly this , and pair with tonverk because digitone 2 lacks samples , effects , effects sequencing and multiples outputs or pair with digitakt if sample slicing and time stretch is essential for you. You can also try overbridge wich let’s you mix each channel separately in a daw with different effects and sampling bonus.

tonverk= doesn’t werk = half backed elektron product
so I would go with Digitone 2

I just got the tonverk. Everything works well and it’s a lot of fun.

I find it sad that OP put this little effort into his or her question but then seemingly expects everyone to put a lot of effort into their responses. No background info, no nothing. This sort of thread should just get locked.
It’s like if I asked everyone whether I should pick Apples or Bananas but without mentioning that I’m actually deathly allergic to Bananas.

Tonverk ! I own both and since I get Tonverk I find DNII boring. I’m not a sample girl but Tonverk can really be used as a synth (especially with wavefinder, grainer and multisample). I really enjoy the process of sound design with the insert fx and bus. Much more deeper than DNII. I’m thinking about selling it and just keep the Polyend Synth which is much more versatile and imo sounds way better.
