Digitone II Feature Requests

Param slides could be done using a slew amount for live param recording. Similar to how the DN2’s random lfo waveform has a slew amount, but in a track or global setup, dial in a slew amount % to allow smooth rather than steppy param knob recording in live record mode. Per param would be best but not sure if that is feasible, per track would be great, but even global setting for the kit or pattern would be better than nothing.

I haven’t read all the thread, but apart from retries and midi arp, random note etc. I would love also a solo mode. It is really strange it is not present.

Hi,

I think it’s always a bit long to apply a LFO to a parameter :
You have to go to the right LFO / find the right parameter in the list…
What would be nice, is to long press the parameter you want to modulate.
A small menu appears, and you can choose the LFO it can be modulated by.

It would make the workflow much more direct and alive, imo

Actually, you could also use the long press on a parameter to be modulated by the modwheel, pitchbend… parameters .

And the feature can be added to digitakt, syntakt, digitone …

I’m new to the thread, and haven’t been reading all the propositions, maybe it has already been discussed !
Cheers

Hold down an encoder and press the LFO button to choose that value for modulation would be a good shortcut.

It should apply it to whatever LFO page was selected.

I would love to have a filter (like the one of second page is enough) for audio input

Hi, I’d love to have internal MIDI routing without needing to do loopback. I’d also like the ability to send LFOs to track macros, allowing for some kind of multi-modulation effect.

Additional LFOs would be great, of course!

Oh, and some smoothing adjustments to the parameter locks. This would allow for more organic modulations without jarring transitions.

OK, here’s my wish list for Digitone II: :slightly_smiling_face:

  1. Per-track routing for the master overdrive

  2. A master filter, selectable to go before/after the master overdrive, also with per-track routing.

  3. Add the SY_CHORD machine from the Syntakt but with a second page of parameters where you can dial individual frequencies/levels for the four harmonics (a bit like the HH_LAB machine on the Syntakt).
(The “type” knob on the first page will still apply “presets” to all 4 oscillators at once, the second page will let you fine-tune the values (first page could say “user” if you fiddle with them)).

  4. FX tracks - let the user set a track to type “FX” in the same menu where you set a track to “MIDI”.
An FX track can use trigs and LFOs to change the master overdrive, master filter, and send MIDI CC values for aftertouch/bend/mod-wheel/breath to other tracks (user can select which tracks). Those CC values already have routing to other parameters in each track so we get a huge mod matrix.
Trig locks on FX tracks can be smoothly interpolated. Have a page where you set interpolation type for the values - eg. instant/linear/exp.
