Digitone - Auditioning sounds

how do you turn on the function to audition sounds?

as it is now i have to load a sound (which takes me out of the browser) play it, go back to the browser, scroll down 1 sound, load etc.

On other Elektrons you have to hold Function whilst you press Yes to load a sound - this keeps the Browser open, as a workaround

that’s a really helpful tip., thank you. and yes, that works on the Digitone as well.

i’ve since discovered that to audition the sounds without loading you have to use the Digitone keys.

I was using a MIDI keyboard and the MIDI keyboard attached only plays the loaded sound.

setting ext keyboard to the DN auto midi channel will solve that issue

Hi all,

When i open the sound browser and flick through the sounds, i would like to be able to just tinkle the keys of my midi keyboard and hear that sound, but its not letting me.

it seems fine if i use the trig keys/keyboard on the digitone itself.

Any ideas if i can do this?

I don’t know the DN but the auto channel will be explained in the manual. It will be in Midi Channels or similar in the general settings side of the device
