Don’t downgrade. There were several recent threads with a similar plotline and somehow downgrading led to problems.

Actually the one I found is a digitakt but a similar situation so I’d leave it alone.
If it’s a newer firmware, then they put it on there for a reason. There were likely no advantages to replacing the old one with the one on your machine so no public release. IE no upgrades and no new bug fixes.
