Hi all,
Just got the digitone 2. I’m trying to figure out how and if digitone is able to glide. I see a portamento option with glide. Nevertheless I don’t really know how this works. Is there any video available or can someone explain? For example how to glide a bass sound.
Thanks in advance.
Yes it definitely can glide
You need to enable Portamento on the Trig page, as well as setting the time for it.
Additionally, in Setup (for bass) make sure the track is in Mono mode, and you’ll want to set your Portamento TYPE as well. In Legato only mode you will get a glide only when two notes are played at the same time.

Thanks for reply.
What I still don’t understand is how to program the sequencer to glide. I get the setting but can’t figure out how to program a simple slide. And layer two notes. Could you elaborate on this ?
For “legato only” - Just put the first note of the glide in, make sure that its trig is long enough to reach the next note you want it to glide to. For example, C5 on step 1 set to anything above a quarter note with a C4 on step 5 will glide from the c5 down to c4 dependent on the speed you set. If the trig on step 1 is shorter than a quarter note it will not glide.
“Track” and “Voice” settings will always glide but will behave slightly differently - Track glides based on the sequencer notes, whereas Voice will glide based on the last note that particular voice played.
The description in the manual might make more sense than what I wrote haha

Thanks! Will try that. Sadly I couldn’t really find anything about “how to glide”. More than enough text about the settings. But not how to do it.
