Digitone 2 and IPad

Hi.

I am interested in using my DN2 along side my iPad but can’t find any guides/videos as to how to set it up.

Could someone walk me through it? What apps I need, what cables etc. and then how to set it up so I can sequence the iPad via DN2.

Also any iOS synth recommendations.

Connect your DN2 to the iPad with a USB cable. If the iPad has a Lightning port you need the Apple CCK adaptor.
DN2 can act as an audio interface for the iPad if configured. You can send the DN audio through the iPad FX as well.
I use AUM as a plugin host. I’d recommend synths from Waldorf, Moog Music, SugarBytes etc. but there are just too many.

I’m thinking about finally getting an iPad(used ideally) and I’m wondering if y’all know of any good composition/synth apps that I could upload into it. Ideally I’d like something where I can sorta organize my thoughts, and possibly work on structure, but I’ve seen some cool videos where a guy made a composition with a monomachine and an iPad app. So any suggestions will be researched! First and foremost, definitely want to get Strom + RYTM because that looks really cool. Thank you

Good for testing the arp or sequencer of an usb powerd keyboard, e.g. Keystep 37 etc.
Only a standard USB B to USB C adaptor was necessary to connect my Keystep to the iPad (2024).
