Hi all,
I am planning to pair my Digitakt with a software synth on iPad.
I guess most of you got tired of newbie questions. I looked through on the forum but I am not totally sure on one thing though.
I would like to both sequence the synth from Digitakt and also play the synth live through Digitakt’s effects and get audio from Digi out’s.
Is using an usb cable for midi and audio enough?
Some folks recommend mixer apps on iPad, however I will be using only one synth for now.
I hope it’s a simple combination.

Everything except the Thru [edit: ] Digitakt FX part should work well. There are some usb audio options, but the reverb and delay will only affect audio tracks and 1/4” inputs. Compressor may affect the iPad audio.

I thought so too for the effects. Nevertheless, good to hear that the audio and the midi routing capabilities.
I wonder if it’s possible to connect iPad to 1/4 audio inputs via converter/usb hub while it’s receiving midi without causing weird feedbacks and such?
