Digitakt Not Sending Velocity via Midi

Dear Elektronauts,

I have sequenced a lovely, downtempo acid bass line being sent from DT to my TD-3 and Moog Sirin. I have adjusted the velocity for each trig/step, however, neither mono synth are responding, all notes are being sent at the same velocity.

The only parameter I have adjusted is engaging the correct midi channel on the SOURCE page.

I would love some help.

Warm regards,

Chris

The td3 would only sound different if values are under 100 and over. ( normal note and accented note )
And then you’d need the accent dial turned up.
You won’t get different volumes between 00 ( quiet) and 128 ( loud)

Unsure about sirin

If the sirin is like the minitaur, velocity sensitivity is an “under the hood” feature so it might be all the way off in the software?

Thanks @re5et this is most helpful and makes perfect sense. I’ll try when I get home.

Thanks @endwino I will download the editor and give it a go.

You might want to open the td-3 editor as well:
In it you can set the “accent threshold” to any value. Velocities above that will be played with accent, velocities below it won’t.
