Digitakt / midi-in: playing wrong notes, skipping notes

Has anybody experienced weird / buggy behaviour when sequencing tracks / samples on the Digitakt externally? Mine appears to skip notes and even more confusing – occasionally and arbitrarily plays wrong ones…
