Is it possible to have the Digitakt in the send/return loop of a XONE:96 mixer? I want to be able to use both the FX and drums of the Digitakt on the XONE with a bit more routing flexibility (if possible). Does anyone here use a setup similar to this? I know SPEEDY J uses a setup like this, but he uses an Octatrack instead of a Digitakt. I’m hoping someone can give some insight. Thanks in advance guys!
The basic routing is explained down below.
SEND 1 —> Digitakt Input L/R
Digitakt Ouput L/R —> RETURN A
You could I’m sure but your send/return loop would be using the same global effects as everything else on the DT.
With Speedy J, he could be using an input pair on the OT into a THRU machine and sending it back out the CUE outputs. This would isolate that loop from the OT’s master output and give him a lot more flexibility.
That’s such a neat routing solution! I considered getting an Octatrack, but it’s a bit too outdated for me to be spending that much on it. And the fact it doesn’t work with Overbridge is a dealbreaker as well for me.
