Hi everybody, i think it would be super useful to have the opportunity to create folders for samples when you choose them from the SRC menu.
Doing so it would be very easy to use lfos on samples without risking to hit the wrong ones.
Other then that also having a transient slicing would be super nice like 1010music has.
I mainly play improvising , these two things would really improve the workflow. Also having a headphones volume (like func + main volume).
Let me know your thoughts
When you pick samples from the SRC menu, you can choose a bank (A-H) and a number within the bank (1-127). The banks can serve as your folders I think ?
Look into using the slice machine, that allows you to create slices by transient detection which you can then refine. Probably can’t compete with the 1010 blackbox’s touch screen though
. The manual should help you out and I’m sure there are youtube videos on the subject. Search for slice machine - it wasn’t a launch feature, so launch videos won’t cover it.
For what concerns banks it should work actually thanks, i was just thinking that for few samples it could be a pity to “waste” a bank.
For the slice machine i actually tried already as the manual and videos say but i find it very unprecise and there should be a mode where i do not select how nany slices but it just does the job as long as it finds audio peaks maybe with a threshold and then a possibility to add new slices. The touch is nice but im thinking more about features and workflow for live slicing
