Digitakt II Headphone Output making intermittent noise/interference

Hello guys! First time posting here, hoping someone has come across my issue and can comment about a fix!

A few months ago my Digitakt II has started making noise through the headphone out only. All other inputs and outputs work just fine, no noise or issues whatsoever.

This issue seems to affect both left and right signals, with a volume discrepancy between them - almost as if there was an sinewave LFO modulating it.

At first, I believed it to be a grounding issue related to the outlet or maybe one of the cables i had plugged in, so I ended up taking them all out, leaving only the power supply that came with the Digitakt II and the headphones (my usual AKG K240 mkII). I also tested with other headphones.

The issue carried on however, so I ended up testing in my buddy’s house to see if it was power related - no difference in the behaviour.

By all my estimation, this does not seem to be lint or bad contact of the cable to the jack, since gently trying to move the connector using the cable end did not make more or less noise. Usually if something is loose you hear spikes or more noise when moving the jack.

At this stage I sent it back to Thomann, where then it was sent over to the service partner for fixing (unsure wether that’s elektron or somewhere else)

After having it for 3 weeks, they send it back saying they did not repair anything, but the problem came back a few days after.

This time around, I could even use my newly acquired dígitone ii power supply to try and isolate the issue further. The results were the same, and the Digitakt power supply does not seem to cause any issues to the dígitone or it’s headphone audio output.

If you had the patience to read all that, I thank you, and I wonder what could be possibly happening here

I tried to upload video of how it sounds like, plugged with a cable to my Focusrite interface, but it says I cannot upload a file, so for that reason I will be putting it through as an unlisted YouTube video https://youtube.com/shorts/El7trkLqiF4?si=PPcodd8A4kL3Ro29

Maybe a grounding issue within the Digitakt itself? Is this something that may be repairable at home?

I am quite comfortable with disassembling and doing any adjustments, but I feel a product that’s not over a year old should require that
