Warp/timestretch really needs to be improved. I tried to make them work for me, but there’s just too many pops and clicks.

This legit may be asking too much, but an envelope follower on the MOD page with ability to select other tracks and their parameters (fx too?) as destinations would make digitakt truly modular

Has anyone already requested the option to assign the headphone output as outputs 3/4?
From a technical perspective, it would be extremely useful to have the headphone out available as an assignable output pair (stereo) or as two independent mono outputs. In my setup, for example, I would route the kick to a separate output for dedicated external processing.
An additional routable output pair would significantly expand mixing, routing, and integration possibilities with external gear.

not possible, there is only one stereo DAC feeding both the main outs and the headphones.

What about a longer recording time? What is the reason of the 66 s limit?
how so far they have come, using technology this old they have? 
Yesternight i was copying a sample folder of some mb size and had time to boil water for a tea and brush my teeth and wear pyjamas and almost fell asleep waiting.
Now i know there are arguments on everything and why it is what it is but …damn is this slow. I am running out of ideas what to do while the machine is copying

I need a method to sample on the fly during live performance.
So I can sample the main track right during playback, then put it on a free track, and have it match the bpm of what’s playing. Now I can’t do it, or don’t know how… Please add this feature, dear developers!

I really wish for Vst versions of the FX of digitakt 2.
Reason is that if i export the audio into Ableton and want to further edit the audio clips then i am stuck with a rendered Fx channel and the only way i see as a solution is having them as dedicated Vst Plugins.
Unless i am missing something in which case i am open to suggestions

This is not a bad idea if feasible.
That sort of live sampling and BPM matched playback is really the domain of the Octatrack only, I can’t see it ever coming the DT2

though it would make a lot of sense since the Dt2 is also a sampler and also a performance tool.
So this should-could be a normal function to expect in 2025
There’s sadly many things you’d expect from a £800 sampler in 2025 that the DT2 doesn’t provide.
There’s not much you can do about it

Well i am still looking around and would not have an issue using something else. Have not found something yet but its also habit at play i guess.
I am still amazed at the loading speeds of Dt2 tbh. Reminds me of the 80`s when i had to load video games via a magnetic tape only to play 10 minutes and had a power outage in our village meaning i had to do it all over again as soon as electricity was restored.
Dt2 loading speeds are that, - without the fun of being a kid

patience , some youtuber ( i don.t remenber wich one sorry )said he talked to elektron team at machina bristonnica, and they said something big is coming to digitakt 2. that’s why i did not sold my DT2 yet. and don’t be jealous TV on os 1.2 is far from perfect that’s why they pushing updates so hard. i could bring a DT2 to a live show ,tonverk mmm no.
