Lead is not good for you, get out of there
Edit: bad advice, careers are important (they pay for these boxes after all). Stay in class, the update is still here when you’re done

I know I already mentioned it but I’ve updated my DTII and Key Tracking to SRR is a dream come true
Does anyone have a problem with Overbridge? I’ve just (cleanly) installed Overbridge and now the Control Panel doesn’t detect either my Digitakt II or my Syntakt, and the Overbridge Engine just displays “Initializing”…
Is anyone in my situation too?
If MacOS, and “cleanly” you mean running the uninstaller and restarting before reinstalling, make sure you have the Overbridge Kernel Extension permitted in security options. It is commonly waiting there to be activated.
Yay!
Track Swap
“P-lock to active trigs” is really one of my favourite features since we can now easily remove all parameter locks like velocity. I’ve have had to remove these manually from each trig after every recording. No more.
Also this feature is great for changing the note of each trig in a sequence in one go if you need to change key. You previously had to go through each trig in the track to do this.
Chord mode is beautiful and a huge addition! It’s very inspiring to play with the different scales and chord inversions and I’ve created many new tracks with it while testing it. It helps you create chord progressions that you don’t normally do if you, like me, isn’t the best keyboard player. So I think it will help people create better tracks.
Not meaning to rain on the parade…
But totally agree, it really is so nuts isn’t it. I just love the workflow on Digitakt, but so often have to go to another machine (OT or the computer). Seems like such an essential function is just being ignored.
I literally had the same “in 2025” thought a couple of days ago… Seems comical…
Happy they are updating, and appreciate what they’ve added, but c’mon!
Okay - I’m sorry to lean on you as the Impromptu Overbridge Tech Support - but, how do I do that on Mac OSX with Ableton? There is not plugin that I can choose that isn’t dedicated to other Elektron boxes other than the DN2.
II’m on a MacbookPro M1 Sonoma 14.7.1, I can’t find any mention of a kernel in the security options, but chances are it’s a security issue. I just have the two apps Engine & Control Panel enabled in the security options. Where can I get access to this kernel?
At first glance, this is ticking all the boxes.
Yes! Have’t tested it yet, but just saw the demo. Looks absolutely massive, feels like it can compete with anything out there, even in the software world
Iam kinda sad for Syntakt…
I use a Birdcord adaptor and Nitecore NB10000 battery bank all the time with my DT2. Small and powerful, runs for hours.
Think I’ve got it working. Thanks for your help
Just gave a try to overdub on DNII audio tracks.
Doesn’t work properly. It erases notes.
Edit : Option in personnalize !
Sorry !
More tests later.
Finally!!!
I won’t get a chance to look at this for about a week. I don’t see anything in the main post about resolving the zero crossing issues or sample transfer but hope it’s buried in the release notes
EDIT: Reading up seems like it might be fixed for slice/grid machines. Great news. I wonder if setting loop points is also improved
Here are the steps to check!
I’ve been actually asking for this for years hah, very happy to see it finally implemented!
You first need to select the DN2 as an input device, then open the “input config” window:
In that window you can choose which channel to enable. Once that’s done, you should be able to select the channels you want - associated with DNII tracks, for each Live track.
Only been testing for twenty minutes or so but I haven’t encountered clicks with grid on two new melodic samples from DNII.
