Hi all,
I just bought a Roland S1 to go with my Digitakt and Minilogue XD and I want to set it up so I can:
- Sequence my Roland S1 with my DT
- Sequence my Minilogue XD with my DT
- Sample Minilogue Xd with the DT
I also have a Tascam Model 12 as my mixer.
Ive not been able to have the right setup with my cables and I can
t seem to figure it out.
Can you guys help me?
Midi: takt sync A to S1 midi in/S1 midi thru to minilogue midi in
Dont forget to set up the corresponding midi channels on all the synths
And for sampling the mini just send the audio outs to the takt inputs and set up the levels accordingly…
Or you could use the aux outputs of the tascam to send to the digitakt inputs

I also got a Torso T1 with it and I want to use it as my main sequencer/brain.
Any tips how to incorporate this? Do I need a midi hub?
In that case, you would have T1 midi out to DT midi in.
And instead of using midi out on the DT to connect the other synths, you would use midi thru.
I think the T1 also lets you reassign its midi thru port as a secondary midi output in the config app, which may be preferable to chaining via the S1’s soft-thru (soft-thru tends to add latency).
