Hey Elektronauts ,

I needed some advice on triggering an SH-101 with the Elektron. I saw this video of Mathew Jonson typing in notes in the SH-101 sequencer then selecting the triggers in the Cirklon and then when he pressed play on the SH-101 the sequence he played was a different rhythm then you can do on the 16th note sequencer that in the SH-101.

Is this possible with the Digitakt ? I have midi to cv converter that I am looking to purchase and essentially trying the same thing . Here is the video , the specific part starts at roughly 18 min in . Thank you for your help

If the MIDI-to-CV convertor can convert MIDI Note inputs to gate outputs (which is very likely) then you could do this with any MIDI sequencer including the Digitakt.

I have someone saying that it won’t work because the midi to cv convertor is not sending ‘triggers’. ? Does this sound right ?
