what is the exact reference of the knobs of the digitakt and the octatrack mk1? I want to repair them and I’m from South America
…even far far away…write them…but u’ll gonna need those exact push encoders, i’m afraid…
Ask Elektron support, they are always very friendly and they probably will help you out.
If you’re repairing yourself might just be worth opening the box quickly and looking at the part - should have the number stamped on it (but yea support are cool and will be able to send you some).
Might be able to upgrade yourself to metal shafts if there’s a compatible part! Something like these swish Alps encoders. Luxury Elektron.

do you have a link there express, ebay or amazon?
Ah this is just an example - very similar encoders but I’m not sure what part number Elektron use unfortunately. You can buy replacements from vendors on Reverb.com though: Elektron Octatrack Mk1 Complete Set Of Encoders - Sampler - | Reverb
But definitely try Elektron support first.
I bought a second hand octa recently, they defo use different encoders from the new digis. The encoders were totally fucked, one didn’t even have a click functionality due to it being so worn out.
I ordered replacements from mouser, only a couple of quid each. These are the parts that elektron use. Should have bought more as the shipping was almost more expensive than the parts…

These will not work on your digi, but will for a MK1 device (A4, rytm or octa).
My octa feels like new now! Although it did take a few days to “work them in” after they were resoldered. Hope this helps
My friends . I was writing to elektron support and they sent me all the original parts to Colombia! I think it is the best decision. take advantage and ordered other sets of keys for future damage.
