Device Abbreviation List

As I recently stumbled upon the question of a new member “what is meant with “DN”?” I recognized that for me as a new forum member in the first weeks, where I just silently read through so many interesting threads, I often times didn’t get what devices people are actually talking about.

Therefore I suggest starting this thread with commonly used abbreviations for devices a new forum member might not know in the beginning.

As I am also quite new here in the awesome Elektronauts family, I hope I don’t break an unwritten/written rule with this post. I also searched for a similar topic but didn’t found one.

So to sum it up, the Idea is to post any abbreviation new forum members might struggle with.

I start with some I struggled in the beginning:

MF … Arturia MicroFreak
AF (=official), A4 (=also used) … Elektron Analog Four
AK … Elektron Analog Keys
DN … Elektron Digitone

Edit: changed Analog Four abbreviation to the official one. Thank you @avantronica for pointing that out.

Just made a list for someone new :sweat_smile: So here you go:

DT = Digitakt
DN = Digitone
OT = Octatrack
AH = Analog Heat
M:C = Model:Cycles
M:S = Model:Samples
AR = Analog Rytm
A4 = Analog Four

I rarely see other abbreviations here for other brands/units.
