[ Definitive list ] Digitone Sound Packs & more

I think I’m not supposed to endorse anything, as my earlier post including links were removed, but on a personal note I have installed the VA-FM Tones (and obtained the Drones & Depths) packs from A Force Truly Evil, and I really like them. The sounds suit the style and ambiance that I want to go for. The Digitakt got treated to Keinseier’s Reduktion sample pack. TBH it helps a lot, as I’m not proficient enough in translating ideas into twiddling the right knobs, and these presets/samples come closest to my ideas

What do you mean you got Drones & Depths? Is it included with FM Tones? This is the first time I’ve seen this second soundpack. It’s not listed on the Isotonik website, but I found a link on YouTube where you can buy both soundpacks. Where did you get them?

Drones & Depths is a sound pack focused on Drone, Ambient, generative textures, and experimental electronica. Built around deep, evolving drones and self-modulating synthesis, the sounds are designed to unfold over time — often from a single sustained note.

Digitone owners, both Geometry Sound Packs are still available at a discounted price until Sunday evening.
These sounds are compatible with DNII.

Hi! I can’t find sources that sell Digitone 2 Kits (.dnkit) files? I find it quite attractive to do some ‘preset rocking’ every now and then and load one of the factoriy kits as a starting point. But they are really few in numbers and apparently the sound packs you get online only offer .dnsnd files, so only sounds but not kit collections.

Also, I couldn’t register and buy sound packs from the Elektron web shop today, is that a known issue? Is that shop broken right now?

UPDATE: Turned out .dnkit files are not a thing, sorry for the confusion!

This seems to be a regular gremlin from time to time, it’s usually attended to within a few weeks

I’ve never heard of anyone selling Kits exclusively, not for any Elektron, I can see the utility, but most people probably want to deal with sounds and assemble their own

Some packs will have Kits either explicitly or implicitly exportable from included patterns

Thanks! Deriving kits from patterns included in sound packs is a smart idea! But still, it is usually not clear (before buying and downloading) which sound packs have patterns included, right?

I find kits super helpful for jam sessions where you shouldnt spend too long on sound design.

I don’t own a DN2 (just DT2) but I’m interested to know, are dnkit files an actual thing … produced by transfer ? Asking because the DT2 equivalent doesn’t exist. (Yes, it has kits, but you can’t get a “dtkit” file from transfer)

What’s the discount? Any dn2 specific ones?

Now both packages (separately) are discounted to 15 euros. Normal price is 20 euros. These were made with DN1, but are compatible with DN2.

Sorry, my bad, there are no dnkit files. But you can derive kits from patterns.

I’ve been eyeing it, but waiting for a potential sale since there’s a small percentage of the sounds I want.
