That’s not actually what has happened as I explain elsewhere, FTR
SYstem eXclusive is by definition a format that tailors messages for specific Manufacturer/Product combinations
DN1 and DN2 do not and could not share the same Product identity, so the DN2 will by definition ignore a Sysex file which is not targeting itself, nothing is nerfed
My Curses (and all soundpacks in general) have always been available as dnsnd (stsnd, …) files, and I recently “remastered” them for Digitone II, which are dn2pst files

They sound the same on the DII; that’s the good news.
I wonder if I should send Elektron updated dn2pst files and ask them to update them.

I’ve put up a soundpack for Digitone 2
Its all darker, noisy, drone and dark pad style sounds. More experimental than beautiful.
Pay what you want, or whatever you feel its worth. Your call.
Examples of some of the sounds here.
Also if anyone is a fan of that old “Memory in Atlanta” video by Nostalgic Ruckus, I have recreated one of the main sounds in that pack and referenced it by name.

Just to let you know that I will update the definitive list :

IF you are sound-designer and created some sound packs that are not in here, don’t hesitate to PM me with all details prices, shop links etc… That way I maximise to not forget anyone in the next batch of updates.

Just a quick heads-up — all my Digitone I sound packs and the CO5MOS bundle are now fully compatible with the Digitone II 
If you already bought them, you can simply re-download the updated versions from your original link. No extra cost, just more fun. 
Same organic textures, physical-style pads, and carefully crafted sounds — now ready to explore even more possibilities on the new DG

Is this an update just to the filename/compatability? Or are there any updates to the sounds themselves? Use of new machines, 3rd LFO, new FX, etc
From what I see the latter hasn’t changed, but maybe I am wrong. Still a massive soundpack in the original implmentation

Well, no, following numerous requests, it’s a simple port of my sounds created for the Digitone I to the Digitone II.
However, I’ve been working for some time on sound packs specifically for the Digitone II, and the first one will be available within a month

There is a new soundpack from Isotonik for the dn2, does anyone know it? It’s a bit expensive but from the preview it looks interesting

I’m used to buy some soundest for some VST, this is a regular price. Audiotent that does very nice soundsets are even more expensive that this one. But worth it.
I mean 30 euros for 128 sounds its descent. It take a lot of time to make 128 presets

hi all. new DN2 user here, happy to be here. never owned a DN1 before. would anyone be able to share the factory sound preset files for the DN1 with me? i assumed elektron would sell it but i couldn’t find it anywhere. thanks in advance!
(reason i want them is im so new to this paradigm id just like to have those sounds in my arsenal as a baseline)
